The PAMED physician membership cycle is based on the calendar year. Members may join at any time. Dues are not prorated. Membership in a County Medical Society, based on work or home location, is required.

Membership in PAMED is open to physicians who hold a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy, who have a residence or professional activity in Pennsylvania, or who are medical students in Pennsylvania.
